PRL Recruitment Age Limit

To be eligible for the PRL recruitment, candidates must meet the following age requirements:

• Assistant (Rajbhasha): Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years.
• Junior Translation Officer: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years.
• Library Assistant-A: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years.

PRL Recruitment Salary

The selected candidates will receive competitive salary packages based on their respective positions:

• Assistant (Rajbhasha): Level 4, earning between ₹25,500 and ₹81,100.
• Junior Translation Officer: Level 6, earning between ₹35,400 and ₹1,12,400.
• Library Assistant-A: Level 7, earning between ₹44,900 and ₹1,42,400.

PRL Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the PRL recruitment, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for each respective position:

Assistant (Rajbhasha):

• Graduation in any discipline
• Hindi Typewriting speed of 25 words per minute on a computer
• Proficiency in computer usage
• Knowledge of English Typewriting

Junior Translation Officer:

• Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level or vice versa.

Library Assistant-A:

• Graduate degree
• First Class Master’s degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science or equivalent.

PRL Assistant Recruitment Selection Process

The selection process for PRL Assistant recruitment consists of the following stages:

1. Written Test
2. Skill Test (Computer Literacy)

PRL Recruitment Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹250/- for each application. The fee payment can be made online through Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/NEFT/WALLET or offline through a challan at the nearest SBI Branch. However, certain categories including all Women, SC, ST, Ex-serviceman (Ex-SM), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from paying the application fee.
