Age Limit
The age limit for the Assistant Professor position at the School of Open Learning (SOL) is as per the rules of the University of Delhi.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates for the Assistant Professor role will be eligible for an Academic Pay Level 10 with a rationalized entry pay of ₹57,700/- as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Assistant Professor position at the School of Open Learning (SOL), candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a Master’s Degree with 55% marks or equivalent grade in the concerned/relevant/allied subject.
- Have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or hold a Ph.D. Degree.
Selection Process
The selection process for the Assistant Professor role at the School of Open Learning (SOL) consists of two stages:
- Shortlisting of candidates based on their qualifications and experience.
- Interview of shortlisted candidates to assess their suitability for the position.

Candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹500/-. However, candidates from reserved categories are exempted from paying any application fee. The payment can be made online through Credit/Debit Card or Netbanking.
